Encapsulation Professionals provides written warranty coverage on qualifying workmanship and systems. Coverage depends on the service, materials, equipment and package selected, with the applicable terms identified in your written project documents.
Warranty Coverage Should Match the System Installed.
Not every service, product or crawl space system carries the same warranty.
A workmanship warranty, a manufacturer's product warranty and a long-term system warranty are different forms of coverage. We keep those categories separate so homeowners can understand which coverage applies to their project.
Your signed proposal and any written warranty issued with the completed project identify the coverage applicable to your specific installation.

Three Different Types of Protection
Keeping these categories separate prevents confusion about what is covered and which warranty applies.
Workmanship Warranty
Qualifying installations include written workmanship coverage for problems determined to result from the work performed by Encapsulation Professionals.
The applicable workmanship term is identified in the written proposal or warranty documentation for the project.
Manufacturer Warranty
Dehumidifiers, sump pumps, condensate pumps and other manufactured equipment may include warranties provided by the equipment manufacturer.
Manufacturer coverage and duration vary by product and are separate from our long-term system warranty.
40-Year Transferable Limited System Warranty
Qualifying premium encapsulation systems may receive our 40-Year Transferable Limited System Warranty.
Coverage, covered components, transfer requirements, limitations and exclusions are governed by the written warranty issued for the qualifying project.
Long-Term Coverage for Qualifying Systems
The 40-Year Transferable Limited System Warranty is reserved for qualifying premium encapsulation systems. It is not automatically included with every vapor barrier, repair, drainage project, waterproofing service or equipment installation.
When this warranty applies, it will be identified in the written proposal and warranty documentation for that project.

What Each Warranty Actually Covers
The type of warranty depends on the source of the problem.
Installation vs. Product Failure
A problem caused by installation workmanship is different from a mechanical or product failure. Equipment supplied by a manufacturer remains subject to the applicable product warranty unless your written project documents specifically state otherwise.
Drainage vs. Encapsulation
Drainage systems address liquid water while encapsulation addresses ground vapor, air exchange and related moisture conditions. Warranty coverage follows the specific system and scope installed.
Repairs vs. Complete Systems
A standalone repair, vapor-barrier installation or equipment replacement does not automatically receive the same coverage as a qualifying premium encapsulation system.
Existing Conditions
Warranty coverage applies to the qualifying work performed and does not automatically extend to unrelated building components, pre-existing conditions or work completed by others.
A Warranty Is Not an Unlimited Guarantee.
Crawl spaces and foundations are affected by changing property conditions, weather, drainage, utilities, equipment, structural conditions and outside alterations. For that reason, our warranty coverage is defined by the written terms for the work performed.
